内容简介The dramatic advance of refractories having performances beyond the limits of existing refractories requires the positive introduction of an advanced technology such as a nanotechnology. This is one of the most hopeful technologies applicable to refractories that are composed of grains several millimeter in diameter with additions of fine particle grains several micrometers in size. The authors have been developing a new refractory (hereafter called nano-tech refractory) by introducing particles with size smaller than 100 nanometers (0.1 urn) in diameter.
