Whilst the initial aim of Insulation is to affect Energy Savings in an increasingly energy conscious Industry, the Management of such savings lead to ramifications of great importance in the Process Control within Metallurgical Vessels. Such management of the thermal load in the system and the control of superheat, which is generally to alleviate thermal losses, with targeting the optimum temperature values along the stages of the process route, are of significant commerical value in an increasing energy cost era.
