It is a great Honour & Privilege for me to become President of the Electric Steel Makers Guild and to be following in the footsteps of so many eminent and well-respected members of the industry. I would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate the out going president, Mick Greenfield for his stewardship through an extremely difficult and turbulent year. Highlights of his tenure included an absolutely fascinating visit to the Health & Safety Laboratory in Buxton and the stunning Caerphilly castle as the backdrop for the AGM dinner.
