内容简介Mold fluxes play a key role in the continuous casting of steel, such as to provide lubrication and to control the heat transfer between the steel and mold. Therefore, there are reports about the viscosities of the flux and heat transfer in the flux. The continuous casting process is carried out at high temperature, so it is important to prevent reaction between the mold flux and the submerged entry nozzle (SEN). Basicity is used as an index of the reactivity of slags, however, the effect of CaF_2 on the basicity has not been investigated.
