内容简介It recently became possible to measure a temperature distribution with high resolution and high precision as a result of improved performance of infrared sensors and infrared thermography. In addition, small and low cost infrared thermography instruments have been developed. With the background of the development and dissemination of high performance infrared thermography, technologies for facility diagnosis and maintenance are attracting attention on the basis of measuring the surface temperature by infrared thermography. In this paper, the author intends to explain the current situation of infrared thermography and also to introduce application examples of infrared thermography to the technologies of facility diagnosis and maintenance in condition monitoring.
