内容简介There are many interfacial phenomena between refractories and slag or molten iron or molten steel in the iron & steel refining processes. The wetting properties of molten iron/solid oxide systems have been investigated in fundamental research studies for improving the corrosion resistance of refractories against slag and other reactants. Although there are many reports on the effects of each chemical component in molten iron on wettability, a few papers consider the chemical components and the structure of refractory on the wettability. This paper describes the wetting relationship between molten iron and a porous MgAl_2O_4 substrate, from the standpoint that porosity is one of the structures of a refractory.
