内容简介Al_2O_3-SiC-C castables are widely used as the working lining in the main trough of iron-making blast furnaces, and they are generally installed several times, as a repair material, to prolong the campaign life. But the material on the back side of the working lining remains without removal/repair during a campaign and therefore the characteristics of the residual material change during long service periods, resulting in impossible to bring out not infrequently the primary performance. In this work, the authors investigated the changes in the characteristics of working lining material and the effect of use conditions on these changes, by removing samples of main trough lining material after use for long periods, to help establish the desirable guidelines for installation, repair, and removal of working lining trough material.
