内容简介There are various methods to increase the life of continuous casting refractories. One of the methods is to lower the content of graphite. However that change has the risk of causing increased thermal spalling because the thermal shock resistance is reduced. So we used high residual carbon phenol resin in the nozzle refractory mix for high thermal shock resistance. The results of lab tests and field trials are reported.
