内容简介A rotary corrosion test was used to compare the erosion and penetration resistance of porous plugs containing spherical magnesia particles as a main component with that of a conventional alumina porous plug. The erosion resistance and penetration distance of the former was, respectively, about 1/10 and 1/5 that of the latter. Also, the magnesia plug has the possibility that an oxygen washing of porous plugs can be neglected. However, the spalling resistance of the magnesia plugs was inferior to that of the alumina plugs.
