内容简介It is already known that the addition of pitch is effective in improving the thermal shock resistance of MgO-C brick. However, it has been pointed out that the thermal shock resistance of low carbon MgO-C bricks are degraded as the sintering progresses when it is burnt for a long time. This paper presents the results of an investigation on the influence of pitch on the sintering progress and the resistance against thermal shock.
