内容简介Al_2O_3-SiC-C castables containing spinel have better corrosion resistance than Al_2O_3-SiC-C castables without spinel in the main trough metal line. However, when the former castables are used for a long term, they deteriorate significantly due to the presence of the spinel addition. We researched the above two materials in various ways to obtain fundamental knowledge on their behavior and studied the deterioration mechanism. The results of this investigation are presented in this report.
