内容简介An insulating castable with light weight aggregate has been developed with a shorter installation period and advantageous application technology. In the course of development the following advantages have been found. In order to make insulation and pumping compatible, it is important to make the volumetric mixing ratio of light weight refractory aggregate in the range 0.65 - 0.85. Free flow value and V-funnel flowing time can be easy indices for pumping property. Shape retaining initiation time can be simple indices for selection of quick setting agent and determination of the addition amount. As the result of the actual application of the developed insulating refractory castable with CA6 aggregate, good gunning installation was achieved with no frame setting and distance piping of ca. 66 m. The applied castable refractory has successfully been in operation for more than 2 years.
