内容简介

By selecting carbon sources with different particle sizes, the properties of tap-hole mixes can be adjusted with respect to the corrosion resistance, density, and drillability. By combining different carbon sources, tap-hole mixes with suitable properties of density, drillability, and corrosion resistance, can be supplied for the drilling machines of any blast furnace. For blast furnaces with high power drilling machines which need dense and corrosion resistant tap-hole mixes, it is effective to decrease the amount of large particle size carbon and to increase the carbon with small particle size, and vice versa. Contrarily, for blast furnaces with low power drilling machines, the amount of large particle size carbon should be increased to allow easy drilling.
