内容简介

As mentioned above, the a-alumina fiber and the Mullite fiber which are made by the chemical process are better than other fibers made by the melting method, as the a-alumina fiber and the Mullite fiber have less heat shrinkage and higher refractoriness than others. But their price is higher because that the cost of their raw material is high and the production process of them is not easy. And we are usually considering mixed usage of the a-alumina fiber and the Mullite fiber and others to reduce cost, and with keeping high quality. Ceramic fiber (CF) is man-made fiber mainly consisting of alumina (Al_2O_3) and silica (SiO_2), and there are two kinds of fibers: vitreous fiber, we call RCF and crystal alumina and mullite fiber that we call AF.
