Specified Chemical Substances as carcinogenic substances which is designated by the "Tokka-soku" or PRTR law, are hexa-valent Chromium compounds, Nickel oxide and asbestos in refractory. Although asbestos is abolished, trivalent chromium with the possibility of changing to hexa-valent and nickel oxide are used or studied. We confirmed the possibility of the hexa-valent chromium ion not only after heat treatment but also in the kneading process.
