内容简介The improved shaped-seal material had superior hot sealability compared with the conventional material, by using surface-treated aluminum powder and an emulsion type of binder. The improved seal material has contributed to the prevention of molten steel leakage from nozzle joints, and to improvement in the quality of steel because of the significant reduction in nitrogen pick-up by the molten steel.
