内容简介Observation and investigation of the wear damage interface was carried out in connection with the relationship between the corrosion resistance and the apparent porosity and ZrO_2 content of high zirconia containing ZG material. The following conclusions were obtained as the result: As for the relationship between apparent porosity of high zirconia containing ZG material and corrosion resistance, in the case of the same ZrO_2 content, lower apparent porosity correlated with better corrosion resistance. In the case of the same apparent porosity, the higher the ZrO_2 content, the better the corrosion resistance. As the result of structure observation after a corrosion resistance evaluation test, in the case of high initial-apparent porosity and low ZrO_2 content, the molten slag penetrated easily into the ZG structure on the wear damage interface and therefore the thickness of the destabilized layer was increased and consequently the amount of wear damage increased. Destabilization of the residual ZrO_2 aggregate component in the layer penetrated by the molten powder was apt to be lower in the case of higher initial-apparent porosity and lower initial ZrO_2 content (high graphite content). In order to improve the corrosion resistance of ZG material it is necessary to reduce the thickness of the penetrated layer and the destabilized ZrO_2 layer. Therefore, as a direction for improvement in ZG material, low apparent porosity and high ZrO_2 content are appropriate relevant policies.
