This standard specifies the gravimetric method for determination of loss on ignition. This standard is used for the determination of loss on ignition of magnesia and magnesia-alumina refractory materials. Determination range: >=0.10 percent. The following standards contain provisions, which through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard. At time of publication, the editions indicated were valid.
