内容简介Not only domestic, but also overseas, or, business and sightseeing, trip brings about unexpected meetings and happenings in some cases. I think in most cases they don't last for long periods but is one of the best part of a trip. In November 2005, I went on a business trip to the States as I had been given a privilege to participate in the UNITECR'05 which was held in Orland Florida, USA. Soon after seating in the plane at Chubu air port, the departure place, a neighboring passenger talked to me. "Where are you going to ?" Starting with this short greeting, we talked about a wide variety of things and enjoyed the conversation during the flight. Thanks to the chatting with the neighbor, I didn't get bored with the long flight. The neighbor passenger is originally from Taiwan and emigrated to US about ten and several years ago, and at present run a company dealing with sales and design of illumination goods as Neon sign, porch light etc. at Miami. He was on his way back from Taiwan to Miami, visiting Chubu air port as a transit passenger. Once a year, he makes it a rule to return to Taiwan on business together with home-coming for a month or so. It seems he is not happy with his life in US because he was complaining about not liberating from time constraints and mental pressure. With red wine services in the plane, his chat was escalated to his Japanese ex-girlfriend who had taught English conversation in Nagoya. He asked me to take a role of interpreter on his next visit to Taiwan and Japan because he can not speak Japanese. Then, I replied "With pleasure." On my return asking, I wished him to design a porch light for renewal. He returned "With pleasure" as well.
