Developed a field unit that allows the addition of a constant amount of R-grog to a virgin mix, with continuous mixing, for installing a lining at a job site. This development is one contribution to the solution of refractory-related environmental problems. The results of a field trial for repairing the spout of an iron ladle proved that the CMU would efficiently add a constant amount of R-grog to a virgin mix, with continuous mixing, while installing a lining. Next, intend to expand the range of application of the CMU, to provide more contributions to the solution of refractory-related environmental problems.
