内容简介A chrome-free brick with higher thermal load resistance has been developed. It is based on the conventional chrome-free brick, which has been the only one used in the cement kilns operating with all chrome-free brick linings in Japan. The characteristic features of the developed brick are as follows: The material has a lower Al_2O_3 content than the conventional chrome-free Mg-Sp brick, and the developed brick with 5 percent, Al_2O_3 has corrosion resistance identical to that of Mg-Cr brick. As for thermal cycling, the thermal shock resistance and structural degradati resistance have been shown to be better than those of Mg-Cr brick have been shown. By means of optimizing low AL_2O_3 content and the quantities of Fe-and Zr-additives, excess reaction between brick and cement components has been suppressed, the melting temperature of reaction products has been raised and a more stabilized adherence ability of coatings can be expected. Hereafter, with use of the developed chrome-free brick together with the conventional bricks in those kiln zones with appropriate thermal loads and wear conditions, the establishment of chrome-free technology may be attained with stabilized cement kiln operations.
