内容简介Magnesia, which is the main raw material of MgO-C refractories, is available in the marketplace in many varieties; the variations include the manufacturing process, purity, grain size, bulk density, etc. Therefore the quality and properties of the various available magnesia raw materials need to be considered, based on the intended purpose/application. In this work, the effect(s) of the magnesia raw material purity on brick properties after firing in a reducing atmosphere was investigated. The results are reported in this paper.
