内容简介As the strength of refractory materials depends on the brittle fracture, and the effect of the porosity throughout the body, the variation of the strength measurements is apt to be large. Recently studies on the methods of evaluating the strength of refractory materials have been conducted. The possibility of using fracture strength for refractory materials was investigated, using a submerged entry nozzle for continuous casting as the sample for performing the impact fracture test at room temperature and to establish a unified valuation based on the consideration of the effective volume and the effective hold time.
