内容简介Recently, various incineration residue-melting furnaces have been demonstrated and actually used in Japan in order to reduce the volume of incineration residue and fly ash produced from waste incinerators and to prolong the life of the final waste disposal sites. Refractories that are used for the slag contact area and which seem to be severely worn in residue melting furnaces are considered in this paper.Al_2O_3-Cr_2O_3 bricks (C, D) were superior in oxidization resistance to SiC brick (A), superior in thermal spalling resistance to MgO-Cr_2O_3 birck (B) and superior in corrosion resistance to Al_2O_3-Cr_2O_3 brick (B) and superior in corrosion resistance to Al_2O_3-Cr_2O_3 castables (E,F) and SiC brick (A). Consequently, it was found that Al_2O_3-Cr_2O_3 bricks (C, D) were effective in the total balance.
