内容简介Petroleum industries are generally divided into two fields, petro-refining and petro-chemical. Actually, in petro-refining plants, not only distillation and refining processes are carried out, but they also produce chemicals such as olefins (ethylene and propylene etc.), and aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene and toluene etc.) which are used for production of synthetic rubber, chemical fibers, synthetic resins, etc. So, it can be said to be a petro-chemical plant as well. In Fig. 1~1), outline of the petro-refining process for fuel oil production is shown. In the petroleum production plant, crude oil is processed by means of distillation, cracking, and reforming produce chemicals such as lubricating oil, paraffin, and intermediate raw materials for the aforementioned chemicals in addition to fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, heavy fuel oil, etc. As shown in Fig. 1, almost all the processes of thermal cracking, catalytic reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, sulfur recovery, etc., involve processes using heating furnaces, reaction waste gas treatment furnaces, etc. Various kinds of refractories are used in these heating furnaces. In many cases in the petro-industry is not only refractory wear but also an overall damage to linings including steel shells, anchors and supports.
