内容简介Materials containing added graphite grains for application in the blast furnace main trough showed the following results in the laboratory tests. 1. Young's modulus was reduced and it's change due to thermal history was also reduced. 2. Thermal expansion was reduced and the permanent linear change increased. 3. Modulus of rupture was nearly equal to that of conventional materials. 4. Corrosion resistance was improved. It was considered from above results that crack stability coefficient was increased, resulting in suppression of cracking and peeling-off. In field tests, the expected effects of the suppression of cracking and peeling-off were obtained and the wear rate was decreased.
