内容简介A chrome-free castable possessing an excellent corrosion resistance to the slag of the waste melting furnace was developed. The reasons for the success were as follows : (1) Improvement in the corrosion resistance by using MgO and ZrC_2, which are less soluble in the slag than Al_2O_3 (2) Suppression of slag penetration by spinel addition and by spinel formation that densifies the texture (3) Control of abnormal expansion as well as improvement in the corrosion resistance and slag penetration resistance by adding a specially treated zirconia raw material
