内容简介In recent years, much attention has been paid to gasification incinerators of molten ash type, which are effective for suppression of dioxin, and can generate electricity. Those incinerators have to be equipped with high temperature heat exchangers to effectively capture the energy contained in the waste, but the conventional metallic heat exchangers can't provide the needed resistance to heat and corrosion. Therefore there appears to be a good possibility that metallic heat exchangers can be replaced with a ceramic material like pressureless sintered SiC, which is commonly used as radiant tubes in annealing furnaces for steel plate and heat treatment furnaces for carburization. In this study, an investigation was carried out on the heat exchange properties and corrosion resistance of pressureless sintered SiC tubes in a gasification incinerator.
