内容简介We evaluated the properties and workability of a high alumina low cement castable for wet gunning by varying the amount of water and setting activator addition. Our findings were as follows:1) Within the water range workable for wet gunning, bodies installed by wet gunning exhibited high packing density thanks to the improved flowability of the castable. Their properties improved in the 7.5-8.5 mass PERCENT water range.2) As long as the amount of the setting activator was enough so that the workability of the castable was not impaired, the less the addition of the setting activator, the better the quality of installations.The present test was performed with only one material. We therefore fixed gunning conditions such as the wall position, which was set vertical, gunning rate, and air pressure and flow rate. Actually workability and the quality of installations are influenced by changes in such conditions. Our next step, therefore, is to develop wet gunning materials which are not prone to changes in installation conditions.
