ALTIFILTM and ALTIPLUSTM are hydrated alum-hum silicate minerals produced from Newfoundland deposits of the mineral pyrophyllite with Al2O3 grades ranging from 18 % to 28 %. Situated just outside St. Johns, Newfoundland, Trinity Resources operates a world class pyrophyllite mine (Fig. 1) supplying one of the purest aluminum silicate products to industries worldwide. Trinity Resources recently completed substantial investments in mining infrastructure and advanced processing technology including the latest quality control systems. Embarking on an aggressive market development strategy, the company has also added experienced team members in operations, sales and general management.
