The Curimbaba Group/BR is a family-owned Group that operates in the industrial and transportation sectors. With its focus on mineral extraction and transformation activities, the company works not only in refractories and ceramics but also in the markets for abrasives, agrochemical products, bleaching of oil, welding flux, friction, casting, chemical grade bauxite, surfaces finishing, quarry, proppants and steelmaking. The Curimbaba Group was founded in 1961, by the creation of the Mineracao Curimbaba company by Benedito Moreira Curimbaba and his son, Sebastiao Curimbaba. It currently comprises of nine companies, located in Pocos de Caldas/MG, Sao Joao da Boa Vista/SP and Guarulhos/SP. Leonardo Curimbaba Ferreira (LCF), Board Member, Carlos Gabriel Caruy(CGC), Elfusa Technical Manager and Jaime Splett5toser(JS), Sales Manager gave us insights to the business practice of the group.
