The Freiberg Refractories Forum 2012 was held on 7th December 2012 in Freiberg/DE by the Institute of Ceramics, Glass and Construction Materials (IKGB) at Freiberg University of Mining and Technology in cooperation with the DGM (German Association of Materials Science), the DFG (German Research Foundation), FIRE - Feuerfest-Initiative zur Reduzierung von Fmissionen (Refractories Initiative for the Reduction of Emissions – SPP 1418 of the DFG), the SFB 920 (Multi-Functional Filters for Metal Melt Filtration), and MORE (Meeting of Refractory Experts Freiberg Regd.). The annual meetings of MORE and the DGM Technical Committee on Refractories are meanwhile a traditionally combined with the Freiberg Refractories Forum.
